Hole in the wall spot that probably altered my brain chemistry. I should've known when we came in with a group of five and the place is super full during lunch. There was also a very authentic feel to it with the employees going around offering suggestions and such. I ordered the Khao Poon which first of all was humongous (definitely a shareable portion for 2-3) and delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly and I love the blood they used. I usually am not a fan but these were so soft and silky. The soup itself was so flavorful as well. Every spoon was a gift. I would definitely come back and try some of their other dishes!! Their portion size is nothing to underestimate.

Pho Lao Vieng is a great spot if you're craving authentic Thai, Laotian, or Vietnamese food. The atmosphere is super casual. it feels like a true mom-and-pop shop. It's not fancy or modern, and honestly, that's how you know the food is going to be legit. The portions were way bigger than I expected, which was awesome. I got the fried pork, pho, and khao poon, and all of them were really good. Big portions don't mean they skimp on quality here. everything was flavorful and satisfying. Prices are fair, and the staff is friendly. If you're looking for authentic Southeast Asian dishes and don't mind a more down-to-earth vibe, this place is worth checking out!

BEST PHO IN FRESNO! Found by accident!!! Right when i walked in it was CLEAN! Stocked and I got greeted before I could even ask a question. Before I was seated I got a bottled water (yes filtered bottled water) on the house while i chose where i wanted to sit. Once I set the menu was right in front of me under glass on the table so simple and smart. I ordered a chicken pho some wings nd my fiancé ordered a combination plate. We spent $63 nd also got 2 sodas. Left with PLENTY to go home with! The food was so fresh steamy good and flavorful without being salty! We will DEFINITELY be coming back! We left a hefty tip because the service was solid nd bathrooms were also clean which is important to me

Super delicious and well priced Laotian food! This is a more hole in the wall sort of restaurant but when restaurants have such high ratings and no claimed owner on yelp you know it will be good. We came on a sunday afternoon and ordered papaya salad spicy, pho, boat noodles, stir fried intestines, deep fried pork belly, and laotian sausage. The food here is hugely portioned so we prob could have just ordered 3 dishes. The boat noodle was delicious!! It came pack full of meat, pork, blood ,and the soup was so well flavored and yummy. The laotian sausage here is home made, it was full of herbs and the texture was just delish. The stir fried intestines dish was also made really well, the intestines were well cleaned and the sweet sauce complimented it perfectly. You have to come here if you are in the area!

It's been ages since I've been back to this place cause they been opening and closing the restaurant. It was one of my go to back in the days for the beef salad. Family own and the owner is really nice. I came here for pho on this day and saw that they also make Thai boat and I was excited to try it.i also notice that blood cube comes in it as well so made it even excited to try it. It came out and the broth was good. No salty like others around town. The broth was more on the authentic side which I like. Only downfall is that I wish it came with deep fried pork belly instead of pork grinds. The restaurant was clean and had a nice big screen to watch football

They got some yummmmy options!! I absolutely enjoyed my experience. Many options to choose. Our food came out quick. And the portions were huge! A lot more than most other places. I really didn't mind playing approximately $15 a plate. Our server was very friendly and polite. I love that they gave us bottled water and juices for the kids. Very surprised! Restaurant environment was standard nothing too crazy. But good amount of seating. I was very surprised that they weren't more busier, no reason that they shouldn't be more busy. Shocking!! We ordered, beef pho, kaopiak (no pork blood), Lao sausage, meatball pho, pork belly, and a side of sticky rice. Alllll tasted amazing and we had a bunch leftover for dinner later. All in all I would 100% go again! You should give it a try.
